Una moto maltrattata ed abbandonata, un illustre ex proprietario, pochi km sulle spalle, una livrea favolosa! Non potevo non fare un european bagger!! 

...e allora gommata, tagliandata a fondo, revisionato profondamente l'impianto frenante con tubi in treccia appena installati, pastiglie, parapolvere e guarnizioni sostituite. E poi batteria, filtri e liquidi, spostata sotto la sella la centralina ed esternamente la batteria. Selle nuove monoposto, pad passeggero a 9 ventose o a vite, apehanger Tommaselli originale Guzzi, appena scartato ed installato. Tachimetro di una Guzzi di minore cilindrata, faro anteriore Guzzi V11, faro posteriore Guzzi Falcone 500, borse laterali vintage in vero cuoio modificate personalmente a mano. Ecco la #King8, una vera locomotiva!! Puro piacere Italiano!!

I could not make a european bagger!! ...and then tyred, thoroughly serviced, extensively overhauled the braking system with newly installed braided hoses, replaced pads, dust covers and gaskets. And then the battery, filters and liquids, the control unit moved under the saddle and the battery externally. New single-seater saddles, passenger pad with 9 suction cups or screws, original Guzzi Tommaselli apehanger, just unwrapped and installed. Speedometer of a smaller engine capacity Guzzi, Guzzi V11 front light, Guzzi Falcone 500 rear light, vintage saddlebags in real leather personally modified by hand. Tutto è cominciato trovando una Moto Guzzi 1000SP del 1983 ridotta all'osso, praticamente un motore, due ruote e un telaio... Nessuna voglia di smantellarla per farne ricambi, tanta voglia di provare a rimetterla in strada.

Volevo celebrare i 10 anni di Matrimonio creando una moto accattivante da condividere con la mia dolce metà Valentina.

Volevo celebrare i 100 anni del marchio Moto Guzzi nel migliore dei modi.

Allora, cercando fra @officinasegreta, Amici ed annunci è stata prima riportata quasi originale reintegrando tutto quello che mancava, poi sono state aggiunte alcune chicche quali li scarichi e le pedane di un Moto Guzzi LeMans I serie...

Alla fine ho proceduto alla customizzazione senza rovinare o rimuovere i pezzi reintegrati (messi amorevolmente da parte) ma avvalendosi di aftermarket, ricambi originali modificati e pezzi fatti su misura:

- parafango anteriore di serie ridimensionato e riverniciato;

- tachimetro riposizionato;

- spie di servizio a LED;

- scatola tachimetro fatta a mano;

- staffa strumentazione fatta a mano;

- manopole aftermarket;

- manubrio nero opaco a piega bassa aftermarket;

- coperchio tappo del serbatoio dipinto a mano da @FedericoAlescio;

- fianchetti della Moto Guzzi V7 Special replica;

- scarichi completi della Moto Guzzi LeMans I Serie;

- pedane della Moto Guzzi Le Mans I serie;

- Sella aftermarket;

- parafango posteriore in alluminio grezzo adattato, modificato per l'occorrenza e lucidato a mano;

- faro posteriore aftermarket;

- indicatori di direzione aftermarket;

- specchi bar-end aftermarket nero opaco;

- supporto targa in alluminio fatto a mano;

- rimozione del contagiri;

- rimozione dell'airbox a favore di due filtri a tromboncino;

- verniciatura.

... e poi ...

- impianto frenante completamente revisionato;

- cambio olio, filtro e guarnizione coppa dell'olio;

- candele nuove;

- gomme nuove;

- carburazione;

- messa a punto.

Onestamente sono molto soddisfatto, spetta a Voi decidere se è preferibile con il parafango anteriore o meno... a me piace senza parafango anteriore!

It all started by finding a 1983 Moto Guzzi 1000SP reduced to the bone, practically an engine, two wheels and a frame... No desire to dismantle it to make spare parts, so much desire to try to put it back on the road.

I wanted to celebrate 10 years of Marriage by creating an eye-catching bike to share with my sweet half Valentina.

I wanted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Moto Guzzi brand in the best way.

 Then, searching among @officinasegreta, Friends and announcements was first reported almost original by reintegrating everything that was missing, then some goodies were added such as downloads and the platforms of a Moto Guzzi LeMans I series ...

Afterwards I proceeded to customize without ruining or removing the reintegrated pieces (lovingly set aside) but using aftermarket, modified original spare parts and custom-made pieces:

- resized and repainted standard front fender;

- repositioned speedometer;

- LED service lights;

- handmade speedometer box;

- handmade instrumentation bracket;

- aftermarket brown grips;

- matte black handlebar with low aftermarket fold;

- hand-painted tank cover cap by @FedericoAlescio;

- sides of the Moto Guzzi V7 Special replica;

- complete exhausts system of the Moto Guzzi LeMans I Series;

- footrest of the Moto Guzzi Le Mans I series;

- Aftermarket saddle;

- rear fender in adapted raw aluminium, modified for occurrence and polished by hand;

- aftermarket taillight;

- aftermarket direction indicators;

- matt black aftermarket bar-end mirrors;

- handmade aluminum license plate support;

- removal of the airbox in favor of two tromboncino filters;

- painting.

... And then...

- completely revised braking system;

- oil change, filter and oil cup seal;

- new sparks;

- new tyres;

- carburetion;

- engine setting.

Honestly I am very satisfied, it is up to you to decide if it is preferable with the front fender or not... I like it without front fender!

Toolbox - Scatola degli attrezzi

La scatola degli attrezzi è molto più che un oggetto: è assolutamente una compagnia da frequentare! Per questo non mi accontento di avere un freddo oggetto in plastica o moderno: la voglio con una storia alle spalle!  Allora scatola per gli attrezzi vintage perfettamente funzionante e lasciata con la propria patina originale: la toolbox è stata pulita, lavata e passata con del trasparente opaco. Di conseguenza la scatola non sporca le mani e mantiene l'effetto ruggine originale.

"Il Finto Strudel" dell' Officinasegreta - Officinasegreta's "Fake Strudel"

"Il finto strudel" dell' Officinasegreta è una ricetta piuttosto semplice, principalmente adatta ad infilarci quello che vi pare... un po' come è andata quando l'ho sperimentato...

Io l'ho fatta SENZA GLUTINE ma ingredienti e quantità valgono anche per "esigenze alimentari diverse".

Avevo a disposizione:

 

150 g di farina

50 g di zucchero di canna

50 g di burro

25 g di noci

1 uovo

mezza bustina lievito in polvere per dolci. 

E poi per il ripieno:

2 di mele

1 cucchiaio di zucchero di canna

2 cucchiai di miele

25 g di pistacchi 

10 g di burro

1 cucchiaio di cannella tritata

Preparazione

Sbucciate le mele e tagliatele a cubetti.

Mettete in una padella ampia il burro e lo zucchero e fateli sciogliere.

Unite anche il miele, le mele a cubetti e l'uvetta.

Fate cuocere le per circa 10 minuti circa fino a che risulteranno caramellate e unite anche i pistacchi (o i più classici pinoli).

Spegnete il fuoco, spolverate con la cannella precedentemente tritata e fate raffreddare.

Mettete in una ciotola la farina, il lievito, le noci tritate, lo zucchero di canna, l’uovo e il burro a pezzetti; iniziate a mescolare tutto con le mani creando un composto sbricioloso e non compatto.

Prendete una teglia di 20 cm x 15 cm circa con carta forno.

Metteteci alla base e sui bordi una parte del composto compattandolo bene con le mani al fine di contenere il ripieno di mele caramellate.

Coprite con il restante impasto sbricioloso.

Compattate leggermente e cuocete in forno preriscaldato a 180° per 30 minuti circa fino a che la superficie si sarà dorata.

Sfornate "il finto strudel" e lasciatelo raffreddare per qualche minuto prima di toglierlo dalla teglia.

Quando sarà raffreddata potete spolverarla con zucchero a velo.

Ah, inoltre si conserva per due o tre giorni e potete congelarla.

Guarnite con panna montata, magari spolverata con altra cannella...

ENGLISH VERSION

Officinasegreta's "Fake Strudel" is a fairly simple recipe, mostly suitable for filling in what you want ... a bit like it was when I experienced it ...

I did it without GLUTEN but ingredients and quantities also apply to "different food requirements".

I had available:

 

150 g of flour

50 g of cane sugar

50 g of butter

25 g of nuts

1 egg

a spoon of baking powder for cakes.

And then for stuffing:

2 apples

1 tablespoon of cane sugar

2 tablespoons of honey

25 g of pistachios

10 g of butter

1 tablespoon of minced cinnamon

Preparation:

Peel the apples and cut them into cubes.

Put butter and sugar in a pan and let it melt.

Also combine honey, cubes apples and raisins.

Cook for about 10 minutes until they are caramelized and combine the pistachios (or the most classic pine nuts).

Turn off the fire, sprinkle with the previously minced cinnamon and let it cool.

Place flour, yeast, chopped walnuts, cane sugar, egg and butter in a bowl; start mixing everything with your hands creating a crumbling and uncomplicated compound.

Take a 20 cm x 15 cm baking tray with oven paper.

Place a portion of the compound on the base and the edges, compacting it well with your hands in order to contain the filling of caramelized apples.

Cover with the remaining crumbling dough.

Slightly bake and cook in a preheated oven at 180 ° for about 30 minutes until the surface is golden.

Prepare "fake strudel" and allow it to cool for a few minutes before removing it from the pan.

When cooled you can dust it with icing sugar.

Ah, it is also stored for two to three days and you can freeze it.

Garnish with whipped cream, possibly sprinkled with other cinnamon ...

Ed ecco la nostra prima bobber, prodotta su base Honda Shadow del 1992, con solo 38.000 Km.

E' il mio autoregalo, esattamente come la avrei voluta quando ero poco più di un ragazzino.

E' stata la prima moto di grossa cilindrata che abbia mai guidato quando avevo solo 11 anni (lo so è illegale e bla bla bla) e ne sono stato sempre rapito...

E' stato un affare, era la moto di mio cugino e gliel'ho letteralmente estorta dopo anni di pressing (grazie Fabioccio, ribadisco che mi hai reso felice!)...

Finalmente vi ho messo tutto il mio amore ed è venuta esattamente come volevo:

- assetto ribassato di 5 cm;

- apehanger commissionato su misura;

- strumentazione spostata lateralmente tramite staffa autoprodotta;

- telaio brutalmente tagliato (che goduria);

- sella monoposto marrone;

- base della sella autoprodotta e personalizzata con un patchwork di giornali della marina militare del 1932;

- via le plastiche e il parafango anteriore;

- faro posteriore vintage;

- stop autoprodotto utilizzando un catarifrangente di un Fiat d'epoca;

- targa laterale con staffe autoprodotte;

- catarifrangente originale anni '40;

- pneumatico con fascia bianca dipinta a mano;

- specchio retrovisore singolo circolare (nelle foto ci sono ancora quelli vecchi);

- indicatori di direzione più piccoli possibile ed aftermarket;

- soffietti forcella;

- fiancatine laterali e carterino impianto elettrico fatti a mano;

- manopole marroni;

- accessori e borse varie usate, riciclate ed adattate ai vari usi.

La moto è stata pubblicata su alcuni siti di appassionati riscuotendo notevole interesse, ma la soddisfazione più grande è avere e guidare una delle moto dei miei sogni.

And here's our first bobber, based on 1992 Honda Shadow, with just 38,000 Km.

It is my own gift, just as I would have it when I was just more than a kid.
It was the first big bikes I've ever driven when I was only 11 years old (I know it's illegal and blah blah blah) and I've always been kidnapped ...
It was a bargain, it was my cousin's bike and I literally got rid of it after years of pressing (thanks Fabioccio, I repeat that you made me happy!) ...

Finally I put all my love into it and came exactly as I wanted:

- 5 cm lower trim;

- Custom made apehanger;

- instrumentation moved laterally by self-produced bracket;

- brutally cut chassis (which heats);

- single brown seat;

- base of the self-produced and personalized saddle with a patchwork of 1932 italian military navy newspapers;

- the plastic and the front fender are gone;

- vintage rear light;

- stop self-produced using a reflector of a vintage Fiat;

- original 40's reflector;

- side plate with self-produced brackets;

- hand-painted white tire;

- single circular mirror (in the photos there are still old ones);

- Smallest possible aftermarket direction indicators;

- fork bellows;

- handmade lateral side panels;

- brown knobs;

- various accessories and bags used, recycled and adapted to various usages.
